Our client is a leader in their field, due to continued growth even through the economic downturn they are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to assist their busy manufacturing sector.

Duties Include:
1) To assess Customer supplied information for validity and errors.
2) To identify and communicate any Customer information errors or requirements to the Engineering Manager, Programme Manager or the Customer when relevant.
3) To identify the required assembly process from Customer supplied information and Certification, Regulatory, Health & Safety and Security requirements.
4) To create, commission and control standard format processes, supporting
documentation and Bills of Material to meet Customer supplied, Certification, Regulatory, Health & Safety and Security requirements.
5) To create, commission and control Machine Programs for all equipment.
6) To ensure any Maintenance procedures are followed.
7) Complete any Engineer specific maintenance tasks within the req time scales.
8) To assess and identify any problem areas within the production environment.
9) Specify any Machinery, Tooling or Training required within production process.
10) Create processes using best principles to achieve the best possible throughput.

Supplier / Customer Interface:
1) To provide technical support to the Purchasing function to ensure Suppliers and Sub-Contractors can meet our Quality and Certification/Regulatory requirements and Workmanship Standards.
2) Take part in any required audits or assessments of existing and future suppliers, to assure technical & quality capabilities.
3) To provide technical and quality support to the Customer Focus Teams to ensure
Customer requirements are understood and can be met.
